CCM Racing made a welcomed return to the international stage in 2008 after an absence of several years. The famous Bolton based motorcycle manufacturer has previously enjoyed a long and successful racing history, and signalled its intention to return back to the top of the sport with the unveiling of its revolutionary new CMX 450 / CMX 250 machines.

The impact of this state of the art bike within the paddock has been massive, with the media, the industry and the fans alike applauding the achievements of CCM’s dedicated racing department. 2008 was always going to be a proving year, both for the new bike and the new team, however the results have already been promising with the full potential of this exciting new project still to be realised.

Confirming its intent to succeed both at World and British levels in 2009 and beyond, CCM Racing has recently recruited the services of Britain’s legendary four times World motocross champion David Thorpe as Sporting Director to spearhead their attack going forward. Thorpe’s expertise and experience, coupled with CCM’s passion and desire to triumph against the more established teams, sets up what is to be an exiting challenge for the team and all its sponsors and associates.
